The mean score for occupational stress was 2.33 and stress coping method was 2.48. Occupational stress with subjects' general characteristics was related to sex, age, education, and marital status. The relationship between occupational stress and problem-oriented methods revealed a positive significant correlation (r=.253, p<.000). Based on the results, developing a stress counseling program and effective coping program for office workers is imperative, especially for those who show passive attitude toward stress and solve it emotionally instead of using problem-oriented methods.
